Introduction
This guide explains how to connect your Gmail account with UniERP when 2-Step Verification (2FA) is enabled.
Due to Google’s security policies, you cannot use your regular Gmail password in third-party systems like UniERP. Instead, you must generate a secure app password and use that for email configuration.
Once setup is complete, you will be able to
- Send emails directly from UniERP
- Receive emails into UniERP (Communication module)
- Use Gmail as your default business email
Why This Setup Is Required
If your Google account has 2-Step Verification enabled, standard login credentials will not work in UniERP.
Solution: Generate a Google App Password
This ensures:
- Secure integration
- No exposure of your main Gmail password
- Easy revocation anytime
